Polyurethane block foam (PUR) is made by mixing a polyol blend with an isocyanate and a blowing agent. The components used and the production method determine the end properties of the foam. Specific characteristics for these foams are density, dimensional stability, foam structure, compressive strength, fire behavior and insulation value.
All Nestaan PUR block foams have high insulation values and are available in densities of 32 kg/m3 up to 320 kg/m3. PUR blocks can be produced in a width range of 1000 mm to 1250 mm and lengths up to 4000mm. They can be delivered in every shape. Thicknesses of foam plates can vary from 10 mm to 800 mm in sizes defined by the customer.
Nestaan supplies PUR dices of 10x10 mm to blocks of 1250x4500 mm in densities between 32 and 320 kg/m3.
The quality of PUR block foam is constantly tested in our own laboratory as well as guarded by external bureaus and backed up with certificates. Nestaan PUR is available in the standard fire classes: B3 according to DIN 4102-1 and M4 according to Epiradiateur NF P92-507.
